By accessing and using Muraly, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Muraly, a free augmented reality mural visualization service provided by Codefrydev, Agurutwa Foundation.
Description of Service
Muraly is a free, web-based augmented reality application that allows users to:
- Upload and visualize images as murals on real surfaces using AR technology
- Adjust, scale, and position virtual murals in real-time
- Share AR sessions with multiple devices simultaneously
- Record timelapse or video of mural visualization sessions
- Save and load session configurations
The service is provided free of charge and operates entirely within your web browser. No installation or account creation is required.
User Responsibilities
Appropriate Use
You agree to use Muraly only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the service. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Uploading content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any laws
- Uploading content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Attempting to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- Using the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service
Content You Upload
You are solely responsible for any content you upload to Muraly. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to use and display the content
- The content does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights
- The content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, though we are under no obligation to do so.
Intellectual Property
Service Ownership
The Muraly service, including its design, functionality, code, and all associated materials, is owned by Codefrydev, Agurutwa Foundation and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to any content you upload to Muraly. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the AR visualization service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Limitation of Liability
Muraly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of the service
In no event shall Codefrydev, Agurutwa Foundation, its contributors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Damage to property or equipment
- Personal injury resulting from use of the service
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is $0, as the service is free).
Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Muraly will be available at all times. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance or updates
- Technical issues or failures
- Circumstances beyond our control
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service unavailability.
Third-Party Services
Muraly uses third-party services and technologies, including but not limited to:
- PeerJS for peer-to-peer connections
- Browser APIs for camera and media access
- WebRTC for real-time communication
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Codefrydev, Agurutwa Foundation, its contributors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Muraly after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the service.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.
